Disney Ice

Lil J was lucky to be invited to see Disney on Ice with her friend. We had some great box tickets and had such a fun time. 

They had so much fun. 

Happy Birthday Joshua

We celebrated my cousins, Joshua's 18th birthday. It is hard to believe he is now 18. Joshua is my youngest cousin. He's not so little anymore. 

We loved hanging out with Great-Lola. 

And our cousin, Aeron. 

We had a fun time with the photo booth. 

Easter 2014

Happy Easter to all. 

Lil J was very excited to wake up and fun her Easter basket filled with an Elsa and Anna doll. 

After Easter mass, Lola, Nono, and Papa came by to color Easter eggs. 

Lola really enjoyed coloring eggs. She had never done it before and was very creative. 

After coloring eggs, it was time for an Esater egg hunt before dinner. 

A fun, simple, Easter celebration. 

Saying goodbye to Emily

We headed out to the desert to visit Great-grandpa John. 

A week earlier we had to day goodbye to Great-grandma Emily. Emily was a beautiful and kind woman. She was loved by many and was a woman admired and cherished by all those who knew her. She is greatly missed.

It was nice to spend a little time with Great-grandpa John. Lil J got a special ride for lunch. 

After lunch we relaxed by the pool. 

A nice, quiet afternoon after a very emotional and difficult week. 

Crate training

Lil J had a sleep over at Grandmas. Daddy and I had dinner out with adults. A nice change of pace. 

Lil J enjoyed her sleepover and Grandma tried out a new form of parenting, Crate training.

College girl in the making

During Lil J's spring break she got to hang with our favorite college student, Claudia. Claudia is one of my research assistants and adores Lil J. Lil J was so excited to spend some time with her. 

They sent me a few photos while I worked that morning. Hanging at the fountain. 

Having lunch at the finding hall. It happened to be on campus day and prospective students were visiting the campus that day. Lil J fit in. A prospective student in the making. 

We love Miss Claudia. We are very proud of her and her upcoming graduation and sad that she is graduating as well. It's been a great 4 years. Thanks Claudia for hanging with Lil J. 

Notes and Art

She is just growing up. Everyday it is just so great to see her be who she is. She is a very kind and sweet kid. I love the little notes she writes for me. 

Her art work makes me smile. I love her creative and imaginative mind. 

A new little friend

Our friends from Hawaii came home to visit and we has them over for dinner. Lil J enjoyed spending time with her new little friend, Madison. She is just precious. 

She enjoyed hanging with Lil J too. 

Princess Tea Party

Last year, we won a silent auction for a gift certificate for a mommy and me tea party. Since Friday was a holiday for us we decided to use our gift certificate. What a fun time. 

Lil J got to pick a princess dress with heels and a purse. 

The she got her hair done in a Cinderella bun. 

Lil J also got her nails done. 

Beautiful princess. 

Then we got to make a craft and then have some tea and sandwiches. 

It was so much fun. Even after the tea party Lil J was still a special princess. Always our special girl.
