End of June recap

The rest of June was full of fun with friends and various activities. 

Fathers Day fun. 

Fun with dolls. 

Visiting friends. Baking with Izzy. 

Lots of beach time. 

Random selfies with mom. 

Running into friends while going out to dinner. 

 

Going as daddy's date for his 20th HighSchool Reunion. 

A new little friend

Our friends from Hawaii came home to visit and we has them over for dinner. Lil J enjoyed spending time with her new little friend, Madison. She is just precious. 

She enjoyed hanging with Lil J too. 

Princess Tea Party

Last year, we won a silent auction for a gift certificate for a mommy and me tea party. Since Friday was a holiday for us we decided to use our gift certificate. What a fun time. 

Lil J got to pick a princess dress with heels and a purse. 

The she got her hair done in a Cinderella bun. 

Lil J also got her nails done. 

Beautiful princess. 

Then we got to make a craft and then have some tea and sandwiches. 

It was so much fun. Even after the tea party Lil J was still a special princess. Always our special girl. 

Cosmic Mini Golf

The eve before daddy's birthday daddy wanted to go cosmic miniature golfing. It was so much fun. 

New pup and polka dots

A random post of the week. 

Grandma got a new pup. Lil J really loves the new pup. He's a labradoodle and really sweet boy. A great addition to the family. 

Meet Grady...

Lil J has been really great at getting herself ready in the morning. I enjoyed her fashion sense. In the photo above it was a stripe day. The other day was a polka dot day.

Later in the week Lil J spent the afternoon with daddy. They visited me at work and did a little exploring around campus. They found some treats and a lot of students on their own adventures. 

Lil J enjoys playing with daddy's cars. She gives them princess names. I love the sounds of pretend play. 

BFF

J has known her BFF since they were babies in daycare. Now that they are both in preschool, they don't see each other very often since they attend different preschools. Yet despite that, they constantly talk about each other and want to get together. We had a playdate in the mountains near their cabin. We had a fun time at the lake enjoying each others company.











They are both such great girls and I hope that their friendship continues.

July

Wow, it has been over a month since I last posted. The month of July was a bunch of fun.

We celebrated Grandma's birthday



Jordyn earned some cash working with daddy.



Jordyn had a play date with her BFF.



Jordyn made birdfeeders with Grandma.



Jordyn seemed to enjoy doing some cleaning in the back yard.



And also spent some time bathing her dinosaur.



Jordyn spent some quality time with one of her favorite cousins.



She was always happy to have Matthew come and visit.



Jordyn celebrated a friend's birthday and had a really great time seeing her little preschool friends during the summer break.



Jordyn enjoyed the special cookies she requested from Aileen from A Master Creation.




We enjoyed driving around in Papa's cadillac.



July was pretty busy for us. More to come on trips we took.

Now that she is 4

Jordyn is 4 years and 1 month old. I am still in awe that I have a 4 year old. There is so much that she can do now that she is 4....

She can dress herself in the morning. It takes some coaxing but she is fully capable of dressing herself. Although she can be quite lazy and take an hour to get dressed.

 

She goes to plays without her parents. She went to a school play with some cousins and grandma. Such a big girl.



She already is not a fan of the dentist. She is doing pretty good in this picture, but in the end I had to hold her for the dentist to clean her teeth.



She gardens with grandma.

She loves to swim at grandma's house.



She has breakfast dates with friends. Breakfast with Isabel.



She makes birthday cards for her friends. This one is for her BFF, Anna.



Plays classic games with her daddy.



She still likes to dress us. Here in a little gift from my college students who are back from studying abroad in Spain.

All that in the last month. Turning 4 and all of a sudden she is a big girl. No longer my little baby, or even a little toddler. Sigh. This is all going way to fast for me. I just need to sit and try and take each moment in.
