Memorial Day at the Discovery Center

Papa Bear was sick all weekend. Poor Papa Bear. We had planned to go to the beach and make it a family beach day, but with a sick daddy that was not going to happen. So Baby Bear and I decided to get out of the house to let Papa Bear rest. We went to the Discovery Science Center.

She loved the place, she could walk around and check it all out. She went through the entire place TWICE! She had to make sure she saw everything.

One of her favorite things was playing with legos. Maybe someone needs some legos for her birthday.

She enjoyed exploring outside with the dinosaurs.

She was curious about everything.

It was a fun mommy - daughter day. We did wish daddy was with us, but it was best that he rested and good for us to get out of his way (to keep the house quiet) and to get away from his yucky sick germs. It was a success.

A visit with great grandma

My lola, Baby Bear's great grandma, came for a visit the other day. I love seeing my grandma.

With my lola came my Auntie Baves. Baby Bear enjoyed visiting with Auntie Baves.

... and my Auntie Lita. My Auntie Lita is so sweet and loves Baby Bear.

Thanks for stopping by to visit and see our home.

Growing Up

In less that two week, Baby Bear is going to be a 2 year old. I can't believe that she will be two. She is growing up too quickly.

She is no longer looking like my little baby. She is taller, she talks in full sentences (though we only understand her sentences about 75% of the time, but sentences none the less. She can almost count to 10 (with the numbers out of order from time to time).

I think her pigtails make her look even older. My baby is no longer a baby.

She is such a happy girl. I love her smile and her silliness.

She still loves driving her little red car. Now she drives it on her own without any help from mommy or daddy.

IMG_3658

She even pushes her little red car all on her own.

She loves to watch her shows, such a big girl.

I wish we could freeze time. I am not ready for her to grow up so fast.

Rainy Days

We had a few rainy days over this week. So we spent a lot of time indoors. Some random photos from the week.

While I was cleaning the kitchen, Baby Bear decided to clean her kitchen like Mama Bear.

Mother's Day

I am so lucky to have a such a wonderful child. She makes everything in my life so wonderful. Everyday I pick her up I am greeted by such a happy little girl saying "MOMMY!!!" She is always so happy to see me and that greeting she gives me is the best part of my day. I love being a mother, especially a mother to Baby Bear.

We spent mother's day with some family at the dessert. The weather was perfect there.

Baby Bear had a great time on Mother's Day. I loved seeing her smile and run around.

Baby Bear loved running around the golf course. It's a good thing that there were no golfers on the course.

In my shoes

Baby Bear loves to put my shoes on and walk around. She especially loves to put on my heels. She is such a girly girl.
