Memorial Weekend 2014

So I am way behind on this blog. I totally neglected the entire summer and the summer is slowly coming to a close. We had a pretty good summer and now school is right around the corner. yikes! 

A long weekend to kick off the summer. No plans so we headed over to the Getty Museum. A beautiful day to see some beautiful art. 

Lil J was reading her Getty map and like Dora the Explorer she was ready for an adventure. So after the Getty we went exploring on a little drive. No plan in mind. Just seeing where we ended up and what we would find. 

Lil J want to walk like Dora but we explain the LA was a little more grandiose than the land that Dora come from and not really great for walking and exploring. 

In Venice, an interesting site. 

We finally ended up in Manhattan Beach and walked along the beach and stopped for some dinner. It was a fun final destination before heading home. 

The next day we headed to our favorite beach for some relaxation. 

A very nice Memorial Day weekend and kick off to the summer. Many more beach days and fun are ahead.
