Mommy and daddy get a night outSaturday

Saturday, I brought Baby Bear to the college where I work for the annual International Festival. It is always a fun event to attend, you can sample great food from all over the world and watch all kinds of international performances. While there we ran into a few of her class mates from school and friends from day care. It is funny that they were all a little shy with one another even though they see each other every day. I think they were a little surprised to see each other out of the regular context.



We had a nice time the two of us and she enjoyed running around the college.

That evening, we had an adult dinner planned with some friends. Instead of exchanging Christmas gifts, each year we plan a dinner with no kids. Well, trying to find a date this year was challenging with six couples and so it was April and we ended up with one of the couples missing. We went out to downtown LA for a nice dinner. It was a beautiful da in LA.

It was nice to be just us for a few hours and to get to be with friends without worrying about any kids. Among us we have a total of 13 kids, so when we get together it is pretty busy. So it was nice to sit down to a nice dinner with each other. At about 10pm, we all turned back in mommy and daddy, hahaha.
