Independence Day 2012

For the 4th of July, we headed over to Wrightwood to celebrate with our friends. We had a ton of fun playing in the lake at the Country Club in Wrightwood.

We BBQed at the lake and had a nice lunch and time in the sun.



We headed back before it got dark so that we could get back in time for the Claremont Fireworks. They don't have a fireworks show in Wrightwood because it is forest and a huge fire danger. After some naps and as it turned to dusk, we headed over to my office to view the fireworks from the fourth floor terrace on my office building. We weren't the only one with that idea, some colleagues had the same idea (at least the ones with the access card to the building). It was the perfect view. Daddy set-up his camera tri-pod and got some great photos.









He captured some great photos.





Baby Bear's favorite were the pink fireworks.
