A little baker

Baby Bear and I baked some banana muffins over the weekend. It was a great opportunity to use the new apron I bought her at her preschool's harvest sale and make something yummy with some bananas that would have gone to waste anyways.

Baby Bear was in charge of mashing the bananas.



While I put together all the dry ingredients.



She really got into mashing the bananas.



"I did it!"



We mixed everything together, scooped the mixture into the muffin pans, and put it into the oven. The I realized that I forgot to mix in the baking powder. Yikes, that is a pretty important ingredient. Needless to say, the muffins turned out to be pretty dense, but they were tasty. Oh well, we will have plenty of opportunities to bake together again.
