The best shower!

Yesterday was our couples baby shower. My very wonderful best friend threw us the most wonderful shower for our friends. It was a beautiful day and a really fun shower. She did such a wonderful job hosting the best shower. I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful friend in my life and such wonderful people who care about Papa Bear and me. Baby Bear was given so many generous gifts. It is amazing!!!

It was a family friendly shower, so for the kids we had a jumper to keep them happy and occupied. Papa Bear likes to call jumpers: "child containment units." I am sure there will be many of these in our future.



Our adorable cake, it was very yummy! The kids thought it was a birthday party and wanted us to blow out candles and sing "Happy Birthday." Gotta love kids, they are so cute!





We had a few games. Even the boys played. For the boys, they were racing to see who could drink beer out of a baby bottle fastest. They were great sports about being at a baby shower.



It was a great party with great people. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful people in our lives. We received a ton of gifts and got many things from our registry. We got our swing, bouncer, high chair, crib mattress, breast pump, many useful baby items that I would never have thought of (it is great to have friends who have done this all before). I am just so thankful for such wonderful friends.
