A new life

My friend had her baby yesterday. She was due a week before me, so her baby was a little early born at 34 weeks. She had an at-risk pregnancy, her last 2 pregnancies have resulted in pre-term labor (Her first child is a special needs child and sadly her second child is not with us) and she had been on bed rest for the past few weeks. So we all knew the possibility of an early baby. From what I have heard baby and mom are well. The baby weighed in at 4 lbs, 10 oz. I am so excited for her and wish her all the best. I welcome Matthew into the world!!
